Unity is a Powerful Witness Unity is hard and it doesn’t come naturally, because of our rebellious and selfish nature. However, it is unity that most concerns Jesus. It was Jesus’ prayer that we may all be one. Unity testifies who He is and why He came. Satan’s scheme is to bring disharmony and will use our weaknesses and any opportunity to flame disunity. For this reason, Paul exhorts us to be diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit. Unity is a key to promote the gospel. It is a powerful witness to the world and we are fulfilling the will of the Father in the body. Let not our differences divide us, let Christ unite us. The church has been purchased with the blood of God’s Son. He has called us, and died for us so that we may be united in Him. Prayer: Heavenly Father, let us always remain humble in spirit and live a life of obedience to Your Word. Have mercy on us, for we’re divided in many ways, but thank you for sending us Your son, unity is made possible through the blood of Jesus Christ. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind and one spirit, united in thought and purpose. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
