Full RecoveryChikamu
Recovery Day 17
To have full-recovery, you have to see the situation for what it is. Mark 8:24 “The man looked around. “Yes,” he said, “I see people, but I can’t see them very clearly. They look like trees walking around.” People come to God in prayer and they come with drama. I honestly think this is the strangest thing on earth. God sees you, God knows you, He knows your pain, and you think you can put up an act before Him? Just be real!
Be real and admit you need God. Do not be ashamed of what that will do to your story or the path that you have been through because your story is for His glory. All things work together for good for those that love God. There is no shame in your story - it is for His glory. Ruth was not ashamed and God turned her story around. The blind man was not ashamed and God gave him a second touch. Jesus is alive to heal and to deliver; if you need a second touch, He will give you the second touch.
Mark 8:25 “Then Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes again, and his eyes were opened. His sight was completely restored, and he could see everything clearly.” God will lay His hands on you as many times as is required; your eyes will be opened, your sight will be completely restored, and you will see everything clearly, in Jesus Name. You are God’s handiwork; God will not forsake you! Are you being true to yourself? Are you willing to follow Jesus blindly? Are you willing to yield yourself to His stretching? Are you willing to obey God?
Thought: How honest are you about your need for God and for a second touch?
Prayer [hymn] I need Thee O I need Thee. Every hour I need Thee. Bless me now my Saviour, I come to Thee. Amen!
