Such a Time as This
The book of Esther tells us that Esther came to where she was “for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14). The same could be said for each one of us. God has planted greatness within you for such a time as this. When you believe this, not much can shake you. Yes, you may cry. Yes, you may grow frustrated. But you keep fighting because you know that God is not finished with your life.
You and I have been selected by God to be alive in this very moment in time and history. You and I are here for a very real, eternal reason. This moment, this year, this is the exact time he has positioned you for greatness. He has set you apart to bring healing to a hurting world.
Your story, your example, your perspective, your highs and lows—God can transform all of these things into a powerful roadmap for others to follow. It’s not by accident that he has called you to be on the earth at this appointed time. You are not here by mistake or just to exist. You are here because you bring so much goodness and life. You are here because someone else needs what you have.
We serve a God who believes in us and says, “I’m going to grab you by the hand, reveal Myself to you, and then launch you into your purpose, your destiny, and your ministry.” This is good news.
So, hold your head up high and walk into the next room with confidence and assurance, knowing your time is now. Your heavenly father has called you just like he called so many women before you.
We are the women that he picked for such a time as this.
Choose me, God. Pick me, God. Use me to seek the lost and to help those in need. Thank you, Lord, that you are our Almighty God. Thank you that you bring everlasting peace to our circumstances, homes, families, and neighborhoods. Thank you for choosing a woman to bring forth the Savior of the world. Remind me that your peace can calm any storm, and that you grow faith and trust and confidence inside me. You know what I’m facing and what I need. May your faith and purpose rise up in us as women. May our hearts believe. Amen.
