SEEK FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING

Unfortunately, poor people who need financial understanding more do not take the teaching on finances seriously. This is the same way most sick people do not take teachings on healing seriously and just want the power of God to heal them. After receiving their healing, they continue the way they were living and disregard teachings on healing until they fall sick again. Likewise, the wealthy do not want to hear teachings on finances from the word of God because they think they do not need them.

Wealth is not only measured in cash. However, most people who have cash do ignorantly think that they don’t need teachings on wealth. The Bible says in Proverbs 18:11 that, “The rich man’s wealth is his strong city…,”. So, he thinks he does not need anything. Similarly, a healthy person does not see the need to attend a healing convention. The sick who want healing are the ones likely to attend healing conventions, whereas such conventions are largely meant for the healthy to receive faith so as not to fall sick.

Any health service provider will tell you that the fact that you are not sick now does not mean you are healthy. In the same vein, that you have cash now does not mean you are wealthy, because what you are becoming is more important to God than what you are now. You may have cash in the bank but are becoming poorer by the day unknowingly because of the lifestyle you are practising at the moment. Conversely, you may not have physical cash now but are becoming wealthy through the lifestyle you are developing and the wisdom you are acquiring. So, just give yourself some time.

The discipline of saving, the culture of conserving resources, and the attitude that hates wastage that you are developing will shoot you up very soon. Don’t join the show-off parade of imbibing the lifestyle of the wealthy. Your philosophies will be pivotal to how wealthy you can become and how far God can bless you.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the Spirit of wisdom and understanding that attracts wealth and sustains it, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Relating With Wealth Biblically

Wealth is not a man’s idea; it is from God. God wants His children to operate in wealth and He gives them power to get it, however, the subject of wealth is highly controversial, not because God has not spoken about it but because of the devil’s opposition to the prosperity of God’s people. In this 30-day devotional, you will learn how to get wealth biblically.
