Relating With Wealth Biblically Chikamu
THE DANGER OF THE EXECUTIVE MINDSET (2)
Having an executive mindset turns a man into a lazy person in life, and this is not consistent with the scripture. The Bible says, “…if any would not work, neither should he eat” (2 The. 3:10). Many people prefer laziness because someone else is bearing the burden of the work for them. Many public agencies fail because of this attitudinal problem where people refuse to take responsibility for things, all in the name of “it belongs to the government”. The surprising truth is that the same work, with the same set of people, will succeed if privatised.
Some people want to bring this negative mindset into the Body of Christ as well, and you see them handle their things better than they handle the things of God. That is looking for trouble and sowing a negative seed that the harvest in the next generation will not be palatable (Jer. 48:10a, AMP). You should avoid that like a plague.
A tenant who does not take care of his landlord’s property in his custody will not be able to handle his own house if he ever builds his own. God’s plan is for you to use someone else’s things to train yourself to handle your own (Luk. 16:12).
PRAYER: LORD, help me to develop the right attitude to wealth creation in life, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Wealth is not a man’s idea; it is from God. God wants His children to operate in wealth and He gives them power to get it, however, the subject of wealth is highly controversial, not because God has not spoken about it but because of the devil’s opposition to the prosperity of God’s people. In this 30-day devotional, you will learn how to get wealth biblically.
