Scriptures Of HopeChikamu
As the truth of God's Word abides deeply in your spirit, hope takes root and flourishes. Don't skip the process. Let your thoughts linger on His Word. Take a moment each day to read, think about and apply the spiritual principles in the following Scriptures of Hope (World English Bible translation):
Read:
1 Peter 1:3
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy became our father again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."
- Hope comes from Christ. His death, burial and resurrection assures us that nothing can separate us from the love of God and the expression of His power in our lives. Nothing but doubt, that is. Hope has been handed to each of us with the gentle, scarred hands of our Savior. Let hope live in you as you focus your thoughts on Jesus.
Romans 5:5
" ... and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us."
- What Jesus has made available to us, the Holy Spirit activates in us. As you abide in the Word of God, the Spirit's strength and character becomes your own. Let Him. Trust Him. Welcome Him. Test Him. His Word tells you plain and clear that hope in Him does not disappoint. Take Him at His Word. I challenge you to do that. Meditate and reflect on the truth of His character and promises through Scripture, then watch Him restore a faith-filled hope in your soul. Hope does not disappoint when it is hope placed in the truth of God's Word. Get to know His Word and let it abide in you.
