Vanhu vaidya, vachinwa, vachiwana nokuwaniswa kusvikira zuva rakapinda Noa muareka. Ipapo mafashamu akasvika akavaparadza vose. “Zvakanga zvakadarowo pamazuva aRoti. Vanhu vakanga vachidya nokunwa, vachitonga nokutongesa, vachidyara nokuvaka. Asi pazuva rakabuda Roti muSodhomu, moto nesuriferi zvakanaya, zvichibva kudenga zvikavaparadza vose. “Zvichaita saizvozvo pazuva iro Mwanakomana woMunhu acharatidzwa. Pazuva iro hakuna munhu ari pamusoro pedenga remba, ane nhumbi dzake mukati memba, anofanira kuburuka kuti andodzitora. Saizvozvowo, hakuna munhu ari kumunda achadzokera chinhu chero chipi zvacho. Rangarirai mukadzi waRoti! Ani naani anoedza kuchengetedza upenyu hwake acharasikirwa nahwo, uye ani naani anorasikirwa noupenyu hwake achahuponesa. Ndinoti kwamuri, pazuva iro vanhu vaviri vachange vari pamubhedha mumwe; mumwe achatorwa mumwe achisiyiwa. Vakadzi vaviri vachange vachikuya zviyo pamwe chete; mumwe achatorwa uye mumwe achasiyiwa. Pazuva iroro anenge ari pamusoro pemba aine zvinhu zvake mumba, ngaarege kuburukira kuzozvitora. Ndizvo zvimwechetezvo naari kumunda, ngaarege kudzokera. Yeukai mudzimai waRoti. Uyo anotsvaka kuzviponesa upenyu acharasikirwa nahwo. Asi uyo anorasikirwa noupenyu hwake anohuchengetedza. Ndinokuudzai kuti usiku ihoho vaviri vanenge vakarara pamubhedha mumwechete, mumwe achatorwa mumwe achisara. Vakadzi vaviri vanenge vari paguyo vachikuya pamwechete, mumwe achatorwa, mumwe achisiiwa.” [Vamwe vanenge vari mumunda, mumwe achatorwa mumwe achisiiwa.] Vakati kwavari, “Kuri kupiko ikoko nhai Tenzi?” Iye akati, “Pane chitunha magora ndipo panoungana.”
