What happens when God shows kindness to people?

-- Some seek out help – they want this kindness.

-- Some bring others to it.

-- Some just criticize it.

What is yours and my response to Jesus and His heart of kindness?

It tells more about our hearts than we want to admit.  For some, it is all about me and my needs – this is okay.  Others see it as a way to help those around us in need – this is better.  

Do not be people who slam the door on Jesus – and close it for others that need to receive His kindness.

Time to Pray

Father, as I look at this passage, I am surprised by how God’s people view Your kindness.  I have seen them slam the door – and discourage people from coming to Jesus for help.  God, I never want to do that – ever.  I also I want to be someone that actively brings people to Jesus to receive His kindness.  That is my prayer today; I want to bring someone to Jesus today.  In Jesus’ name I pray Amen.
