The attitude of gratitude
You may know a beautiful, ungrateful child who doesn’t appreciate anything. Or maybe you know the adult version. The ungrateful child who became an ungrateful adult who complains about everything and always sees the cup half empty rather than half full.
Perspective is everything. Philippians 4:4-7 reminds us to be grateful and appreciative and to thank God for what He’s done in every situation. A heart condition like this allows us to experience peace. The kind of peace that doesn’t make sense. The kind of peace that’s not easily shaken. The kind of peace that protects our hearts and minds from the chaos and uncertainty of the world, the everyday challenges designed to leave us unsettled, perplexed, and stressed.
The reality is we’ll all face struggles and difficulties in life. We can go through those seasons angry, disappointed with people and situations, and frustrated with what we don’t have and can’t do. Or, we can go through it all with God’s peace. Thanking Him for the known and trusting Him with the unknown. As always, the choice to have an attitude of gratitude or to dwell on the difficulties is ours. We can always choose the peace that comes with gratitude. What will you choose today?

About this Plan
You might be in a season of difficulties, challenges, and negativity, however, choosing to view our situation with a "glass half full" mindset is so important! “The choice to have an attitude of gratitude, or dwell on the difficulties, is ours. We can always choose the peace that comes with gratitude. What will you choose today?” (The Attitude of Gratitude by Abigail George)
