Bible in 90 Days (B90)Sample
Day 44 • Summary • Psalm 119:73–146
Sub-book 5 continues with the Songs of Ascents, which were historically thought to have been used by pilgrims traveling to Jerusalem or by those ascending the steps to the Temple. They are noted for their relative brevity, repetition, and general hopefulness. Psalms 138-145 are David's final collection. They include a prayer for personal thanksgiving, a lament, and a concluding series for protection from both evil men and sin.
