Bible in 90 Days (B90)Sample
Day 29 • Summary • 1 Chronicles 6–17
As the genealogies conclude, King David's reign begins with the death of King Saul and his sons on Mount Gilboa. David’s mighty warriors capture Jerusalem, and he makes it his capital. After David brings the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem, he desires to construct a permanent “house” for it. God responds by promising to use David’s successor not only to build the Temple but also to establish his kingdom and his throne forever.
