Bible in 90 Days (B90)Sample
Day 32 • Summary • 2 Chronicles 18–31
A succession of kings led Judah for over 150 years. The reforms of the good kings, such as Jehoshaphat, Amaziah, Uzziah, and Hezekiah, are both incomplete and short-lived. The Temple is given a prominent role in the narrative to reinforce the people’s identity as worshipers of a Great God. Growing regional conflict with Syria (Aram) and Assyria challenges Judah’s leaders to determine in whom or in what they will place their trust.
