The Purpose of ChristmasSample

Have you ever struggled with your faith? If we’re honest, we’d all probably answer with a resounding, “Yes!” We all have moments that make it difficult to believe and put our faith in a God we can’t see. That’s a very real, human experience. But the good news is, God doesn’t leave us with nothing to go on. We have the Holy Spirit at work in our lives every single day to show us how God is moving, working, and acting on our behalf—even if we can’t see it with our physical eyes.

Christmas itself is a great reminder of just that. In the lyrics of the songs we sing, in the love we feel from the people around us, in the generous gifts we receive, in the time we celebrate together at church, in the Son of God sent to save us—it all points to the living God still at work in the lives of all of us every single day. This Christmas season, make a list of ways you see God working in your life. Big or small, write them down as a reminder of the good that God does for all of His people.
