After My Heart

This is the song that inspired the title of the album. It really describes God’s pursuit of our hearts and our response of surrender to Him. God moves heaven and earth to be with us when we call out to Him. When we need God and ask Him to come, He shows up in power and love.

There are so many examples in scripture that really speak to the power of worship and what happens when we invite Him to come. One that really stands out is Isaiah 64:1-2, “Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you! As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make your name known to your enemies and cause the nations to quake before you!”

There have been moments where we've made the choice to worship, and we've in turn felt the Holy Spirit consume us. With that, He brings healing in the midst of our pain, joy in the midst of sadness, and bravery in the midst of fear. Lean into the Holy Spirit because He never stops seeking us and working within us. He desires a deep relationship with us and so we must surrender. That is what leads us to greater revelations of His great love.
