P.R.A.Y.E.R. is essential

Over the last several days, we have intentionally decided to pray. We prayed because prayer is essential. It is a huge part of building a close relationship with God. It is a huge part of living life as a Christ follower. Prayer is not done out of formality but as a lifestyle.

We looked at the letters in the word 'Prayer" and unpacked why prayer is essential.

Peace - is experienced
Restore - your hope and fuel your faith
Ask - for what you need and desire
Yes - to the assignment
Exercise - your authority
Renew - your mind

I want to encourage you to be open to what God wants to show you in the coming days. Continue to make prayer a part of each day. Take time to journal the reflection questions again and go deeper. Look at how you can continue applying these principles to experience even more life changes.

Prayer is essential because God always has MORE for your life!

Today, make the quality decision that you will spend time in prayer and make prayer a part of your everyday life. Remember to spend time speaking AND listening.
