Ask for what you need and desire

The A in P.R.A.Y.E.R. stands for ask. When we prioritize prayer in our lives, we keep the lines of communication open with God. As you talk to God, asking Him what you need and desire is okay. He already knows what you need before you ask, so you might as well ask.

We can openly share our hearts with God when we pray to Him. He desires to have an intimate relationship with us. He is a good Father and knows how to give us good things. He is our good Shepherd and does not want us to lack anything. He truly is our provider.

As you pray, be honest about what you need and desire. Be bold and ask your heavenly Father. It is an opportunity to trust God knows what you need and will provide. Prayer is essential because asking God for what you need and desire.

Today, make the quality decision that you will spend time in prayer and share your heart with God. Let Him know what you need and desire.

Pray:

Dear God, I choose to come to you with an open heart and mind today. I trust you as my Shepherd and my guide. Thank you for being the good Father that you are. Open my eyes to your plans for me. Help me align my heart's desires with Yours. As you guide me, I thank you in advance for the way you provide for me. Let my life be a reflection of your goodness and glory. In Jesus' name, amen.
