Devotional: GOD’S GRACE

God’s grace – it is unwarranted, undeserved, and something we can’t earn by our works or might. Paul is reminded, in his weakest of times that, God’s grace is enough to carry him through. 

When prayers go unanswered, when things out of our control take over our agendas, when we fail miserably in certain areas, or when we struggle with a weakness that isn’t easy to overcome — we must be reminded that God’s grace is enough to see us through.

Perhaps it’s called amazing grace because it’s amazing how little we deserve it but how much we need it. 

Journaling Prompt: OCEAN

A famous Christian worship song says, “If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking.” The vastness of an ocean is the closest depiction of the availability of God’s grace in our lives. 

Today, creatively express the ocean in your journal, and as you do that, thank God for His unmerited grace in your life this past year.
