Stewardship Rewarded
Luke 19:13, 16-17
“So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.'...The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.’ ‘Well done, my good servant!’ his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.’”
Good stewardship of our spiritual gifts and financial resources will be rewarded in God’s kingdom. There is accountability for what God has entrusted to us. We will all have our conversation with the King. Knowing what we have been given is our first priority. Living with kingdom values as we invest our resources, relationships, gifts and capacity into Christ’s mission and commission must be our priority! The reward for good faith-filled stewardship of what we’ve been given (health, family, vision, faith and so much more) is much greater than we ever imagined. Jesus calls us to lead cities in his kingdom. No assignment is too small to ignore good stewardship.
Lord Jesus, thank you for all I’ve been given. I desire to live with risk-taking obedience as a faithful steward, for your glory.
