Kingdom Leadership In Your Workplace

DAY 2 OF 7

 Your Kingdom identity

The Christian faith is based on relationship and at its heart is God’s unconditional love for his children. Kingdom-style leaders are rooted in their identity as children of God and everything flows from intimately knowing who they are and who they are loved by.

When we allow Father God to transform us from thinking like an orphan to thinking like his heir we get to live from a place of approval no matter what, rather than seeking approval from others. It’s a relief to know God loves us because he loves us; he is not into performance management! He might not like some of the things you do but God’s perfect love neither increases nor decreases, regardless of your thoughts or actions. Father God not only loves us but he really likes spending time together and is the ultimate provider and protector.

As an adopted heir you have access not only to the King but also his Kingdom (SALVATION, HEALING, FREEDOM, PEACE, JOY, JUSTICE, COMFORT and GOD’S PRESENCE) and carry his authority to access his Kingdom and transform society around you as you go about your daily life.

About this Plan

Kingdom Leadership In Your Workplace

Jesus was not just a spiritual leader. Such a perception underplays his leadership capability, considering how he transformed twelve ordinary and if we are honest, unlikely men, into the first generation of leaders of a movement that continues to affect the course of world history 2,000 years later. Jesus provides the template for Kingdom-style leadership that we can model to transform any given situation, team or organization. More than ever, good biblical leadership is required not only in our church environment but in every area of society. Regardless of your title, role or status you have an opportunity to bring about cultural transformation by positioning yourself as a Kingdom-style leader. What leadership opportunities do you have as you go about your daily activities and how can you learn to lead like Jesus? Let’s explore this over the next seven days.
