I Won’t Be Defeated

Sometimes life takes a toll on my confidence. I get overwhelmed, stressed, and tired of dealing with all the ups and downs. I know that you have made me special and the trials that come my way are not too big for me to defeat.

I am grateful to know that I will never have to go through pain and suffer alone. God, I know you are on my side as it says in Psalms 118 so I will not fear. Fear of the unknown defeats so many people and I pray you keep me from being one of them. I pray that trusting you becomes simpler for me.

Help me to view trusting you as the prerequisite for overcoming all trouble. I know that as I trust you things will be better for me in the end. Today, I am going to make a conscious decision to trust you. I decree and declare that I will not let the concerns of today defeat my spirit and steal my joy.

I will not be defeated because I have the undefeated champ of this world fighting alongside me.
