Like houses, most of us require some regular maintenance. We’ve been well designed and well-built, but life has caused us to get rundown, damaged and in need of repair, renovation and remodelling. Often the best thing to do is to pull out the original blueprints and consider what the architect and builders had in mind when they designed and built it. 

This renewing process differs from house to house and person to person. It could be a physical thing that needs to happen and could also be a spiritual thing that needs to happen. 

Your original design is purposeful and very intentional. Communion with our Creator continually brings us back to our purpose while renewing us at the same time. Our transforming, or renovation, is to be Christ-like. 

Maybe there are rooms in our own heart that need to be cleaned out. Take some time to ask God to tell you which areas need some repair or renovation. Then ask Him for a vision or plan of what He wants to do or is doing with you.
