Your life is hidden in Christ 

If something is hidden, it can’t be seen. Great big trees can be seen from a distance but the roots that keep them stable can’t be seen. When the weather changes and winds start to blow, deep roots will hold and shallow roots are uprooted. 

Our personal relationship with God works in much the same way. There is a hidden strength and security that comes with having a connected relationship to God through Jesus. He gives us identity, affirmation and encouragement from within; you can’t see it but there’s no doubt that we are sons and daughters of an all powerful Dad. 

Depth in our walk with God isn’t worked out through formula or task but strengthened through getting to know Him better than we currently do. 

Nutrients are essential for plant growth, so prayer, Bible reading and worship are essential for revealed revelation from God. He is willing to speak when we are available to listen. Don’t be afraid of silence or let it make you feel uncomfortable; rest and silence are gifts from heaven that are meant to comfort and relax us.
