Fruit of the Spirit Christmas PlanSample
Introduction
The Fruits of the Spirit, as described in Galatians 5:22-23, are nine attributes that reflect the character of a person living in accordance with the Holy Spirit.
We want to thank Him, not only for His birth, but also for nine other gifts available to us, every day, under His Christmas tree.
Imagine each gift under His tree is a package containing one of the Spiritual Fruits: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control.
Join us on a journey exploring each gift!
This study is intended to be shared as a family or a close circle of friends, forming or reaffirming a bond with one another.
It describes each fruit, with practical examples of applying it in everyday life. In addition, you will find creative ways to explore each Fruit of the Spirit through arts and crafts and family-friendly eating together ideas:
Each of these Fruits of the Spirit can be cultivated in daily life, leading to more fulfilling relationships and a deeper connection with one's faith.
These activities, combined with the arts and crafts and eating together ideas, can create a meaningful and fun family Christmas centered around the Fruits of the Spirit!
We want to open these packages, make the gifts our own, and share them.
Be creative and think of ideas to focus on one fruit per day for nine days leading up to Christmas. Portray them in the form of little gifts, decorations, activities, art, games, and creative projects. Ideas include making an ornament depicting the fruit of the Spirit, a bookmark, painting rocks, performances, stories, sharing examples, role-playing, food, fruit, table decorations, outreach, etc.
You can also download word searches from the internet. A good idea is to print verses about each fruit, stick them or hang them somewhere (perhaps the Christmas tree!), and memorize them together. This way, each fruit can be well understood and ingrained by everyone in your home. Your visitors can be reminded of these wonderful gifts from God for yourself, for others, and for God.
All scripture is quoted from the Christian Standard Bible (CSB).

About this Plan
Christmas is a wonderful opportunity to make this season spiritually meaningful by giving and receiving gifts that last, gifts that bring joy to others and leave a lasting impact on our hearts. After all, we celebrate the kingdom of Christ and the redemptive story and are reminded of the greatest gift we have ever received, namely Jesus Christ. What a stunning, overwhelming, amazing, incomprehensible, and great Gift it is! His best gift to us is our redemption, but while we are still in this world, He offers us His Spirit to help shape our behaviour and make a difference.
