A Life That Makes Room for Godනියැදිය

Filled.
That moment of private consecration became a mighty infilling. Wherever there were empty jars, there was oil to fill them. The oil only ran out when there were no more jars.
To live a Christian life is to make room for the Spirit of God to fill us and move in us. There’s no shortage of the Holy Spirit, but there’s often a shortage of space in our lives. Busyness, worry and distractions fill the spaces in our days, and before long we’re trying to be Christlike in our own strength.
Once we’ve made a commitment to live for Christ, we need to build rhythms of life that help us to keep making room for the Spirit. God will never stop pouring the oil of His Presence over us, but we may be too busy or distracted to receive it.
What one change is God asking you to make, to open up more room for Him in your life?
Time in prayer?
Regular Bible reading?
Stopping an activity that takes up too much time?
Making time to pray with family or friends?
Something else?
