SOAP:1 Peter 4:11
"Whoever speaks, let it be with God’s words. Whoever serves, do so with the strength that God supplies, so that in everything God will be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen."
Into the Text
Sweet sister,
God will supply you with the strength you need to serve those He has blessed you with. Lean into Him. It is normal to feel tired. It is normal to feel overwhelmed. Never forget that you are serving God, and He will give you what you need. The purpose of our lives is to glorify God. You can do that right where you are, in your home, with your children, in the normal everyday moments of your life. You can even do it in the hard when you are questioning if you are a good mother. You can stop and recognize who God is, that He is the all-powerful, loving, and compassionate Creator. You can ask Him to give you strength, patience, love, humility, and grace for the moment. Wherever God has placed you, that is where God can use you.
Jesus modeled this beautifully for us as He discipled the twelve disciples. He lovingly served these men and taught them how to reach other people’s hearts with the truth of the gospel. Our influence in our children’s lives comes from spending time with them and serving them day after day. If I want my children to be open to my words of wisdom and insight as they grow older, I need to be willing to spend time with them and serve them when they are little. Jesus didn’t just meet with the disciples once a week, He did life with them day in and day out. And in doing so, He showed them how to glorify God with their lives.
Prayer
Dear Jesus, in the midst of my daily tasks, remind me how to serve with Your strength. Help me to see the beauty and purpose in my role as a mother. May my words and actions glorify You, and may my home be a place where Your love is felt. Amen.

About this Plan
Motherhood is a calling! In the struggles of motherhood, we are given opportunities to be molded into Christ’s image and reflect His character to those around us. In the gift of motherhood, we have the incredible privilege to shape, nurture, and love our children in a way that reflects the heart of God. Over the next 14 days we will deepen our understanding of motherhood through God's Word.
