What the Bible Says About...Sample
Prayer – 5
Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. … And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him. … Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. … Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.
When they cry out to the Lord because of their oppressors, he will send them a savior and defender, and he will rescue them. … Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. … Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. … You will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.
I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, “They are my people,” and they will say, “The Lord is our God.”
Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
