Commit Your Work to the Lord

DAY 4 OF 4

Proper Alignment

I make a point every morning to consider my goals for the day.

What do I want to accomplish today? How can I accomplish it?

What I’ve found is that in order to establish my plans, I must align my daily work with God’s will.

I’ve tried to do things my way, and I’ve done them with God’s guidance, and I can say with full certainty that His way is better than mine!

Yet, it is in our nature as people to rely on our own incomplete understanding. We see such a small fraction of the picture, and we make life-changing decisions based on that little glimpse. Why not take advice from God, who sees it all?

Committing your work to the Lord isn’t easy. It is a daily choice that we often must force ourselves to make, even when we may not understand it at the given moment. Commitment requires discipline, and we must develop this discipline. We must ensure that our lives are properly aligned and in tune with God’s will. The decisions that we make today matter. The choice to listen to His guidance or to follow our own understanding is made in every moment.

I encourage you to embrace a life of commitment. Our faithfulness will lead to the fulfillment of our God-given dreams and aspirations. By committing our work to the Lord, and following His guidance, our plans will be established.

God sees your dreams.
He has carefully designed you so that you may reach them.
He’s committed to you.

Now, commit your work to Him.
