Love Letters From the King

DAY 4 OF 7

Day Four Take God’s Hand Scripture: Psalm 16:11; Matthew 7:13¬-14 Kingdom Key: There’s no wrong decision when you are walking in God’s will. There are so many decisions to make. At times I panic because I don’t want to make the wrong one. And now my difficulty in finalizing big decisions is interfering with making the small ones. I can’t handle this kind of pressure—what if all my choices lead to a dead end? —signed, the girl who can’t make up her mind Hey girl, Decision-making isn’t simple, but this truth is: if you decide to become full of God’s Word, it will be a lamp to your life. Won’t you allow Him to take the lead? It’s your choice—go to Him and He’ll be the voice of reason you need. Yes, your own ears will hear His loving instruction. He will go with you and guide you. He will turn to you and be gracious to you whenever problems attempt to overwhelm you. He will make your steps firm when you delight in Him. Therefore, don’t be afraid to fall; He’ll always be there to catch you. Life will have lots of twists and turns, but trust in God to direct you onto the right path. Throughout every slip and slide, you will be safe with Him. Your decisions won’t always be easy to make, and you will make the wrong ones at times because you’re human. But as long as you seek to honor God with your life, He will not allow you to come to ruin. Instead, you will reap His reward. Here are words straight from God to you: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” —Proverbs 3:5–6, NIV Let’s Pray: Heavenly Father, You are my north star. You shine so brightly before me in this world of darkness that You light up my entire path. Thank you for always being so willing to show me the way to go. Thank you for being the way and the truth— and my light! Teach me how to submit my ways to You. I’d rather not rely on my own understanding—I repent for the times I do. May my feet follow Your footsteps; may I remain close to You—not turning to the right or left without Your “Go.” Father, I choose You. In Jesus’s name, amen.
