God Is Quick to Forgive

Psalm 86:15

But Lord, You are a God who shows mercy and is kind. You don’t become angry quickly. You have great love and faithfulness.

God is a forgiving and merciful God. He knows that we are human with weaknesses, so He is so quick to forgive His children. We are living in a sinful world. God knows that we are prone to make mistakes, but praise the Lord for He is so quick to forgive us.

Some of us might tend to feel reluctant to ask for God’s forgiveness. It might be due to our arrogance, a hardened heart, our lack of faith in God’s grace, or the feeling of guilt. Our God is quick to forgive, no matter how big our sins are or how long we have been dwelling in our sins, as long as we are willing to come to Him humbly and turn away from our sins.

Please keep in mind that God longs for us to turn our hearts towards Him. Do not run away from Him any further. Come back to Him.

Remember this.

You are never too filthy to be wrapped up in His loving arms. 

You are never too shattered to be clothed with His grace.

Prayer

Dear God, thank You. You have forgiven me and accepted me. There’s no greater love than this. Amen.
