“I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles. Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim your greatness. Everyone will share the story of your wonderful goodness; they will sing with joy about your righteousness.” (Psalms 145:5-7)
The goodness of God is ever-present. It isn’t dependent on our circumstances, but rather on the fact that He has been and will forever be a good God. It’s who He is. We have access to heart of the King of Kings, and the joy of salvation- that is our anchor.
We can rest assured in His goodness. We never have to doubt because it’s a part of His nature. As we meditate on the heart of God we become more like him: loving, gracious, kind, gentle. Jesus’ main goal was to love those around him, and as we meditate and understand His heart further, we equip ourselves to love those around us deeper and more authentically.
Prayer
God, thank You for Your goodness. Thank You that it is a part of who You are. Thank you for showing us Your heart and allowing us access to loving people how You love them. I will forever testify about Your goodness all the days of my life.
