The Lord is a God of peace and restoration. He turns sorrow to gladness. He restores all that’s broken from the ruins. He redeems all that was stolen from His people. Not only does He return what was lost to His children, but He returns it tenfold. God does not love us because we are good, he loves us because HE is good.
Maybe you’ve suffered a loss or feel like your life is currently in ruins. The good news is that we serve a God that makes beauty from ashes. He is a mighty God that will reset our foundation so we are planted firmly in Him and grow tenfold because we are rooted in Him. When the anxieties of life become more than you can handle, remember that God is near to still the anxious heart. He is the prince of peace when everything feels lost.
Prayer
God, thank You for being a God that restores my ruins. Thank You for redeeming what was lost in my life. Give me peace as I walk into the things you have called me to. Still my heart when the unexpected things in life feel too heavy. Be with me as I go through my day today and show me what You want to restore in my life. Amen.
