A Complete Forgiveness

Psalm 103:12

He has taken our sins away from us as far as the east is from west.

God does not only forgive but He also forgets all your sins. When God forgives you, He does not take a record of your sin and file it in a USB or thumb drive in case He needs to find it and bring it up in the future to make you feel miserable. 

Our God is merciful, gracious, slow to anger and filled with patience. No matter what sin you have done, as long as you seek forgiveness and repent, He will gladly remove your sin as far as the east is from the west. 

East is in one direction and west is in the other but east and west will never meet. If you walk towards the east, you will never end up going to the west. This Bible verse means your sins have been removed from you as far as it is possible to imagine. God gives you and me a complete forgiveness, where the sins are erased and never to be seen again.

Who else can give us such perfect love and complete forgiveness like this? 

Prayer

Dear Jesus, thank You for Your sacrifices so that all my sins are forgiven, and my life is redeemed from eternal death. Let me fill my life with gratitude and praises to You. Amen.
