This Christmas Just Give Me JesusSample
Prince of Peace
This is the last title that Isaiah speaks about Jesus in vs 6. ‘Prince of Peace’
When you pause and look around as to what is happening around you, you are actually living in a chaotic world. Wars, violence, anger, greed, and more torment for peace among people and the nations of the world.
Even in the midst of all these, we must hold onto the promises of God.
John 14: 27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid”
Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”.
II Thessalonians 3:16a “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way”.
The Good News is Jesus. The Good News is that God sent His Son. The Good News is that Jesus will bring peace. The Good News is that Jesus’ kingdom lies in peace and joy of the Holy Spirit.
No matter how chaotic your world may be, Jesus is with us in our suffering. Jesus is with us in our consolation.
Take away:
Call on Him, He will give you peace. This Christmas, just give me Jesus.
