Been Up
“Imma put it in my flows, cause my people gotta know.”
Can you recall the last time you were excited about something? It may be as small as finding a great tv show or song. Naturally, you may find yourself bringing it up in everyday conversations, and sharing it with the people you love so they can experience excitement, too.
When was the last time you shared your passion for Jesus with others? Many of us are excited about our faith and can constantly find the Lord in our minds. We may even say giving our lives to Jesus was the best decision we ever made and our desire is for everyone in the world to be saved.
But how can they believe if they’ve never heard?
The same way we might be passionate to share a new tv show, how much more should that same passion apply to sharing our faith with those around us?
The Bible frequently talks about our duty as believers to breathe life into the world by sharing the gospel. There is no question that it is our responsibility, but how do we do that? When in community with people who aren’t believers, be an example. Hold your convictions around people who may not hold your same convictions, so you may stand out from the rest of the world. When faith comes up in conversation, be bold and share the truth rather than being silent because of fear.
Prayer: God, help me to be more vocal about my faith. Help me to share the gospel with the world.
Action: Identify people in your life who may not know Jesus, pray for them, and intentionally bring up the gospel in your next dialogue with them.
