Dwell in God’s Presence
Exodus 25:8
The people must build a holy place for Me. Then I can live among them.
God wanted to dwell among the Israelites, so He instructed Moses to build a place for the people to worship Him. This place is called a Tabernacle. The reason God wanted them to build a Tabernacle was because God wanted a place to meet with His people.
During that time, the Tabernacle was a place of many sacrifice offerings. The offerings were like flour, oil or innocent animals. The purpose of the sacrifice was to show clearly that sin was very serious and destructive in the relationship between God and His people.
During our time now, we no longer need to make sacrifices because the one truly priceless sacrifice has been made. That priceless sacrifice is Jesus.
How blessed you are to live in a time where you can openly go to church. You can praise and worship Him to dwell in His presence. You can also listen to His word to know Him more by reading the bible.
Prayer
Dear God, thank You for giving me Jesus, so that I can dwell in Your presence anytime and anywhere. I open my heart for You to dwell in my heart daily. Amen.
