Every promise You fulfilled, once for all my future’s sealed.

Even though the Gospel is such a simple message, it costs so much. Jesus truly made a way for us through Himself. At the cross, He finished it once and for all. All the sin, all the shame, all the guilt we’ve ever had, have or will have, all of it was placed on Jesus when He died on the cross. His death wasn’t an easy one. In fact, in the Garden of Gethsemane He asked the Father if there was any other way, but there was not. This was the only way to bring us back to relationship with God. Jesus sacrificing Himself to save us is the ultimate example of love. He made the way through His sacrifice. Because of that we can stand before God, our mistakes forgiven and forgotten and be unashamed. We can live a life full of all God’s promises and on mission for God. You see, Jesus didn’t just save us, He saved us for a purpose. He has good things that He wants us to do while we remain here on Earth. At our home church, Turning Point, we say it like this: we exist to reach people with the Good News of Jesus Christ and help them lead a God-first life. That’s what we are all here to do. You can accomplish this mission at your workplace, in your neighborhood or at your school. But the good news is you are doing this new work from a place of freedom and salvation. We have been set free! Receive it and believe it. Your future has been settled. Now let’s work at telling others about this Good News that we have received! 

Our prayer for you today is that you would know that God’s grace and salvation is a free gift for you! All of your past, present and future mistakes have been forgiven and covered by the precious blood that Jesus shed at the cross. You are free, healed, saved, and forgiven! Now go out today and share that good news with someone else who might need to hear it.
