Go: Your Action Plan To Change The WorldSample
“Out of the Box"
READY
What if there's more to your daily student life routine than attending classes, working on projects, hanging out with friends, leading or attending a small group, playing online games, checking social media, or surfing the internet?
Even as Peter and John and the rest of the apostles already had a new life, they never forgot their regular routines as Jews. It was normal for them to pray in the temple at three in the afternoon. But this time, something was different.
On their way there, a man lame for many years asked for money. Peter used this opportunity to showcase the power of God through healing. Then he preached the gospel to the crowd. As the story goes, the man was able to walk. Everyone was in awe. And many believed in Jesus that day.
As disciples of Christ, we need to live life with a mission. As you go to your campus, there are people who are just like the lame man, victimized by sin for many years. They’re students who need help, who do not know that they have a purpose and a destiny, who do not know Jesus. If we are sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, we can readily seize every opportunity to share the good news as we go about any day.
SET
Do you go to your campus with a mission or do you just go through life one ordinary day after another? Have you taken time to know the needs of the students in your campus? Who are people in your regular schedule who God might be setting up for a power encounter?
GO
Ask God to help you identify which specific students He wants you to share the gospel with, whether you know them or not. When an opportunity to share the Gospel comes today, seize it!
About this Plan
Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He commissioned the disciples to GO and make disciples of all nations. This 31-day devotional chronicles how a number of unschooled, ordinary men heeded that command, preaching a message that changed hundreds and then thousand and then generations. This comprehensive study on Acts aims to empower student believers to boldly preach the gospel with the goal to change the world one campus at a time.
