Brave to face your fears 

Fear and discouragement are partners in crime. They work together and make us forget that God is with us, and try to convince us that we are weak and alone. But, woman of God, you don’t have to be a victim of fear and discouragement because you have something more powerful: Truth. And the truth is, God is with you. The promise is, He is your God. When you are weak, He will be your strength. When you need help, He is there. In God’s hands, you are a victor, not a victim. 

We can be brave in facing our fears because God is on our side. We can stand firm in our faith and courageous in Christ when fear and discouragement come our way. Fear flees in the face of faithfulness, and discouragement dissipates when we declare God is with us. Turn and face your fears, sister. God is with you and you are held. 

Heavenly Father, thank You for helping me bravely face my fears. Thank You for being with me, strengthening me, and helping me. Keep me in the palm of your mighty, victorious hand. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
