Who Is God: Devotions From Time of GraceSample
He always keeps his promises
Have you ever really depended on somebody and then been disappointed? It’s human nature for people to fail, to lie, to quit, to make excuses, to be selfish, and to be so into their own agendas that they don’t have time for you.
One of the things I love about God is that he always keeps his promises. There is no evasion, no lying, no weakness, and no meanness in him at all. What he says he will do, he does. For example, we can always count on his daily presence in our lives. Jesus said to all the believers: “Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).
Isn’t it sweet to know that the eyes and the power of God are near you right now?
