He will never abandon you
Every child’s greatest fear is being abandoned by his parents. Kids have nightmares about being separated in a shopping mall. Grown-ups have similar fears too. We fear that we’ve been abandoned by God and are all alone as we try to survive a hard and cruel life on this planet.
God wants you to know that he will always love you and that he will never abandon you. To guide and comfort you, he speaks to you through his eternal Word, the Bible.
The Bible says, “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart . . . that if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:8,9).
