Catalyst - Known: A 21-Day JourneySample
Day 1:
Key Passage: Psalm 139.1-2
Thank you for digging into the Bible with us. We’re examining our identity in Christ this week. The more we explore this topic, the deeper we dig, the more we’ll learn. It’s similar to what author Jim Collins calls “confronting the brutal facts, yet never lose faith.” When we focus on who God is and who he created us to be we’re going to be world changers. That kind of transformation is contagious. Today, we’re reading Psalm 139. There are portions of this psalm that are very familiar. Ask God for fresh eyes. As you read, focus on God’s presence, knowledge and care for you.
Main Passage: Psalm 139
Reflection:
- What aspects of God are meaningful to the psalmist?
- What phrases stick out to you?
- Thank God for those things in this psalm. Open your mind to God as you make verses 23 and 24 your prayer.

About this Plan
As a team, it is our prayer that Catalyst would spark a life-changing encounter with Jesus that would continue well after the event. Let’s dive deeper into the Holy Scriptures with this reading plan developed with American Bible Society. You’re the fulfillment of answered prayers; a generation desiring to know God and to be known by him. It’s on that foundation alone that we believe we will change the world.
