WISE AND FOOLISH BUILDERS
This is the first true parable in both Luke and Matthew. Jesus challenges us to examine the way in which we are building our lives, and to ask what foundation we're building it upon.

Are we intentionally building our lives on that which cannot move, or are we allowing circumstances and events to be our ever-shifting foundation? Do you know what you're building your life on, God or your preferences, ideas, or dreams?

How often do you read and/or listen to God's teachings? What process do you go through to put them into practice in your life? Do you try and build your life on God's work by yourself, or in a group of "builders?" Are there parts of your foundation that need to be ripped up and reestablished? Don't let another day go by without being intention about how you're building your life in Christ!
