Music: Revelation in SongSample

Day 4: Revelation 22 - Come, Lord Jesus
Patience.
I will admit, there's still some room for improvement... š
Luckily for me, the emphasis in the Bible seems to be on 'don't be afraid' rather than 'don't be impatient'. I feel God gave me some leeway there... š
Not so with God. He is patient beyond measure.
And I'm glad He is, otherwise I would not have been saved (or my wife), and there would have never been a Project of Love.
This song has scripture from the last book in the Bible, the last chapter, the last verses.
And it says: Come, say the Spirit and the Bride. Whoever hears, echo, come!
There's no denying the world is on its last legs. All creation is groaning. We're all tired...
Still, if all you're doing is praying daily for Jesus to return, then you're missing the point.
It's like Peter says in 2 Peter 3:9 (NLT): "The Lord isnāt really being slow about His promise, as some people think. No, He is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be lost, Heās giving everyone space and time to change."
Especially NOW is the time to reveal who God's sons and daughters really are.
BE the salt, BE the light, BE a blessing wherever you are. SHOW the love of God. Heal the sick, cast out devils, we're the GOOD news people!
I love that the beginning of the Bible already shows the incredible patience of our loving Father.
Methuselah, the oldest human ever to have lived, became 969 years. Methuselah's long life was no accident. When Methuselah died, the flood came. You know what his name meant? 'When he is dead, it (the flood) shall come'. God waited till the very last moment, giving people time to change their ways.
So, be expectant, but keep extending the same Grace you've been given as well š„š
