Spiritual StrongholdsSample

Commitment or constancy
In the Gospel, Jesus exhorts us to teach and observe all that He has commanded us, promising to be with us every day until the end of the world. This verse reminds us that growing in the knowledge of God is a never-ending journey, which requires commitment and dedication. When we commit to learning from God's Word, we can also come to understand what is wrong with us. Often, the problems or difficulties we face are the fruit of mental strongholds, ideas rooted in our mind that prevent us from growing spiritually.
When we encounter obstacles along the way, it is easy to lose interest and turn back. However, this will not give us the consistency necessary to persevere in what we are doing for the Lord. The key to overcoming these difficulties is to pray, asking the Lord to help us overcome the obstacles and to rekindle the passion for our spiritual journey. Only with His strength can we break down the mental strongholds that limit us and continue to grow in faith.
Paul prays that Christians will be filled with the fruits of righteousness that come through Jesus Christ, to the glory of God. Living righteously is not easy, but with the help of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, we can do it. Mental strongholds can only be torn down when we submit to God and allow His Word to transform our minds. And again Paul exhorts us to clothe ourselves with feelings of mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. These are the fruits that the Lord wants to see in us, and with His help we can cultivate them, tearing down every mental stronghold that prevents us from being truly free in Christ.
About this Plan

Spiritual strongholds are mental, emotional, and spiritual barriers that oppose God’s truth and block His plan in our lives. They often form because of painful experiences, wrong beliefs, or unconfessed sins, becoming places where the enemy finds a foothold to hinder our spiritual growth. Breaking them down is essential to living in the freedom that Christ has given us. Through God’s Word, prayer, and the work of the Holy Spirit, we can break down every lie and allow the truth to transform our minds, bringing us into full communion with God.
