Spiritual Warfare in BusinessSample

As we bring this study to a close, it’s important to reflect on the principles we’ve explored and how they interlink. While often overlooked in the business world, spiritual warfare is essential for Christian entrepreneurs who want to experience freedom. Freedom to grow and build their organisations to help spread the good news and build authority and presence in the business world.
The devil will continue to target you in areas that matter the most—your mind, your business, and your relationships—but you are not powerless. Armed with the truth of God’s Word, your identity in Christ, and a commitment to integrity, you have some powerful tools to help you stand firm when feeling attacked.
You are not alone in your spiritual warfare! As a beloved child of God, you are part of His family of believers. We are called to live our faith with one another. Together we are stronger.
Above all remember that God is always with us. He dwells within us, so we are always in His loving presence. The weapons we fight with are not physical, but rather spiritual. And they’re powerful in defeating the enemy.
Throughout these days, we have seen the significance of recognising and fighting the spiritual battle:
●Identity in Christ is foundational. Knowing deeply who you are in Christ gives you authority over the enemy. You are a child of God, and His Spirit within you is greater than anything in the world (1 John 4:4).
●Words are powerful. Speaking lies about yourself or your situation undermines the authority given to you by Christ. Instead, use your words to declare God’s promises over your life and business, knowing that the enemy cannot withstand the truth of God’s Word when spoken aloud in faith (Proverbs 18:21).
●Actions of Integrity are crucial. No matter how challenging, acting righteously in your business positions you for spiritual success. The enemy seeks to partner with dishonesty and unethical behaviour, but walking in integrity breaks his hold and aligns you with God’s will (Proverbs 11:1).
Finally, it’s important to remember that spiritual warfare is not a one-time event; it’s a daily commitment. You must stand firm in the full armour of God, consistently engaging with His Word and relying on His strength. Business will always present challenges, but with Christ as your foundation, you can confidently face them, knowing that the battle is already won.
When Jesus hung on that old rugged cross and spoke the words ‘it is finished’; he meant finished! He has defeated the enemy once for all and you and I can walk boldly in that victory on the cross.
As you go forward, continue to meditate on these truths. Speak God’s Word, stand firm in your identity, and operate with integrity in all you do. The Lord is your strength, and you can overcome the enemy's schemes with Him.
Action steps for today:
Meditate on Ephesians 6:10-17 - The Armour of God. Notice how many verbs are used. This isn’t just a verse to read, but one to memorise but to speak out and declare over your life and your business! As you speak these powerful words you are Putting on the full armor of God. This is a powerful reminder of the tools we have available to us as we “struggle…against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
About this Plan

Spiritual warfare is a critical, often neglected area in business, for Christian entrepreneurs. Many people fight their day-to-day business battles but fail to fight the spiritual battle the bible tells us we are engaged in. If you want to step into everything that God has for you and your business, you must learn the skills of first fighting in the spirit, then fighting in the flesh. Without engaging in spiritual warfare, your business will suffer from a lack of profit, low team engagement, reduced impact, and no generational wealth.
