Spiritual Warfare in BusinessSample

What We Do - Our Acts or Deeds
Integrity is a cornerstone of godly living, especially in business. Proverbs 11:1 reminds us that God delights in honest dealings and detests dishonesty. In business, where temptations to cut corners or act unethically can be frequent, maintaining righteousness is not just about good practice but is also essential for successful spiritual warfare. Acting with integrity honours God and demonstrates that we trust Him to bless our efforts when they are rooted in truth.
When we engage in dishonest behaviour, such as avoiding taxes or participating in unethical practices, we align ourselves with the enemy. Such actions not only compromise our witness as Christians but also make us vulnerable to spiritual attack.
You cannot expect to stand firm against the devil in spiritual warfare while partnering with him through dishonest practices in other areas of your life.
Please read that last paragraph again. You will never have victory over the devil while you’re choosing to partner with him by participating in dishonest practices. And those dishonest practices don’t have to be “the big ones”. We’re reminded of this in Song of Solomon 2:15 with “Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom.” Here we are reminded that it only takes something like a “little fox” to ruin the vineyards.
Integrity and righteousness create a firm foundation from which we can resist the devil, but our defences are weakened without them.
True success in business and spiritual matters comes when we choose to walk in the light, conducting ourselves honestly, even when it’s difficult or inconvenient. God honours those who commit to living with integrity, and in doing so, we separate ourselves from the enemy’s influence, standing firm in the victory that Christ has won for us.
Action steps for today:
Go to God in prayer and ask Him what “little foxes” you have allowed into your business practices that could be ruining your vines and keeping you from defending against the enemy's attacks.
About this Plan

Spiritual warfare is a critical, often neglected area in business, for Christian entrepreneurs. Many people fight their day-to-day business battles but fail to fight the spiritual battle the bible tells us we are engaged in. If you want to step into everything that God has for you and your business, you must learn the skills of first fighting in the spirit, then fighting in the flesh. Without engaging in spiritual warfare, your business will suffer from a lack of profit, low team engagement, reduced impact, and no generational wealth.
