DAY 3 OF 6

What if You Have a Question?

Okay, I just want to start off with the standard reminder: “There are no bad questions!” If you have a question about what you’re reading, that’s fantastic! It means you’re interested, you care, and you’re hungry for the truth.

But, what are you supposed to do with your questions? Watch this video for some great ideas!

You’re not in this alone! God can help you find others so you can study and learn from the Bible together! Here are some great questions to think about when you study together. First, consider the background of the Bible verses you’re reading.

·Who is writing?

·Who are they writing to?

·What’s going on—what’s the context?

·How can this help me love God and others more?

Guess what, you and your Bible-study partners aren’t alone in this, either! There are lots of great tools to help you along your Bible-learning journey! Give these a try. (Do NOT skip that first one!)

·Pray for the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom and understanding.

·Use trusted sources like commentaries, pastors, and study guides.

·Look for summaries in a study Bible, at bookstores, or online.

Pray: God, thank You for the truth You teach me through the Bible. Help me treasure it, learn from it, and share it with others—every day. Help me find friends and mentors who can help me with any questions I have along the way. In Jesus’ name, amen.
