Under the Surface: Facing What's Hidden & Finding FreedomSample

When Jealousy Takes Over
Jealousy can sneak in before we even realize it. We see someone else’s success – their relationships, their talents, the things we wish we had ourselves – and suddenly our own life feels lacking. It’s exhausting to live in comparison, and it keeps us from appreciating what God has given us.
Cain’s jealousy led him to a tragic decision. If there's anything we can learn from his story, it’s that we don’t have to let envy control us. God offers us a better way by finding contentment in him and his plans and purpose for our lives. That’s ultimately what helps us overcome envy, freeing us to celebrate others instead of resenting them.
Who have you been comparing yourself to lately? How can you shift your perspective to gratitude for what God has given you?
About this Plan

We all have parts of us we try to keep hidden – thoughts we don’t say out loud, feelings we push down, struggles we hope no one sees. But healing can’t happen in hiding. God is inviting you to bring your struggles into the light. Through this plan, explore what Scripture says about the battles we fight beneath the surface and how honesty, community, and God’s truth can set us free.
