Son of Man - Andrew Holt

Jesus refers to himself as “Son Of Man” in the Bible more than any other self designation, this title speaks to the humanity of Jesus versus other names such as “Son Of God”. Only Jesus was both fully God and fully man, coming to earth and being born as a baby, to walk and live a life like us. A beautiful picture of a Savior who is not distant or far away but is close and here with us, willing to come to earth as a man to overcome the sins of man, which would ultimately lead Him to death on a cross.

This should encourage you today, that the God who would send his son to earth for you is the same God who is with you today. The same God who lowered himself to the very creation he created so that he could then overcome sin and death and now reign both in the heavens and the earth. So whatever circumstance, challenge, or situation you may face today, know that through Jesus, the Son Of Man, you have access to that victory and that power. So take a moment today and give your praise to Jesus, allowing your heart and mind to come into alignment with who he is, letting Him be exalted in your life!
