Anything GoesSample

(VIDEO TRANSCRIPT BELOW)
Have you ever scrolled through social media only to look up and realize that hours had passed? Technically, you were free to do that, but was it good for you? Was it beneficial? Chances are, it was probably okay for a few minutes, but after hours of doom scrolling, you probably weren’t using your freedom as wisely as you could’ve been. Paul reminds us in Scripture to think differently about freedom. Just because we can do something doesn't mean we should. True freedom isn't about doing whatever we want; it's about choosing what's good for us. When we let anything—even something we’re allowed to do—take over our time, energy, and thoughts, we’re not as free as we might think.
This week, pay attention to where you’re using the most of your freedom. Are you giving the majority of your time, energy, and effort to things that are good and beneficial for you overall?
